I didn't let my missteps from undergrad stop me from getting my Master's. I am also so proud of graduating my first class last year. Mr. Foran and his talented art students highlighted the work of Dorchester artist Ekua Holmes, a children’s book illustrator who makes beautiful collages inspired by the very people who grew up in our community. Our students had an incredible experience yesterday at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate as part of the Senate Immersion Module (SIM) focused on criminal justice reform! Through hands-on role play, students practiced civic dialogue, negotiation, and ethical leadership in action. ⚖️ Saturday was an amazing day to be a Phoenix ⚖️ Our AP Constitutional Law students recently competed in the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project Moot Court at Suffolk University Law School. They showed up with confidence, preparation, and pride. Through this semester-long partnership, Boston Prep students worked alongside six Suffolk Law fellows, their Constitutional Law teacher, Ms. Salada, and Ms. Centeio, our High School Humanities Dean of Curriculum & Instruction, whose leadership and support made this experience possible. Students explored topics like free speech, separation of church and school, search and seizure, equal protection, and due process. They put their learning into action at a citywide Moot Court competition judged by practicing lawyers and law professors. Out of 12 semifinalists citywide, SIX were Boston Prep students 💛 🔥 Anaila 🔥 Anderson 🔥 Unique 🔥 Mackendy 🔥 Anastasia 🔥 Sul And a huge congratulations to our finalists, Sul and Anaila, who are headed to the finals on February 27 at the First Circuit Court of Appeals! These students spent long hours—during and after school, even on a full Saturday—because they believed in their work and in each other. 🎓💸 Shoutout to the Class of 2026, our incredible College Counseling team, and the Persistence Project! We’re proud to share that 75% of our high school seniors have already completed the FAFSA, placing Boston Prep in the top 10 in Massachusetts for FAFSA completion rates. Completing the FAFSA is free and unlocks access to the largest source of financial aid for higher education. Studies show that 92% of students who complete the FAFSA enroll in college.
