All Students
All interested student-athletes must complete a FamilyID profile.
All student-athletes must have proof/documentation of a physical examination up to 13 months before the start of an athletic season.
Student-athletes can only participate in one athletic program per season.
All rostered student-athletes must sign and return their athletic department/team contract prior to the first competition.
High School
Must maintain a 2.0+ GPA* (HS-tentative)
Cannot fail more than 1 course during a two-week period (Academic Checkpoints)
Academic checkpoints are every other week (aligning with school and athletic schedule)
Progress Reports- Mid Season, signed by teachers and returned to Athletic Department
Team & Player Contracts
1 Academic warning (suspension)
2 Strikes (removal from team)
Middle School
Must maintain all passing grades throughout the season (70%)
Academic Checks every Wednesday morning during the season
Bi-weekly Progress Reports- signed by teachers and family
Tardy to school also constitutes in detention, but as long as that detention is served the student is allowed to participate in games/practices
1 referral would result in a 30-minute detention, but a student is eligible to participate as long as the detention is served before games/practices
2 referrals in one day is grounds for students becoming ineligible to participate in athletic events that day
3 referrals through a bi-weekly period will place a student-athlete on a behavior plan
