Middle School, High School, and College
Sharon Liszanckie joined Boston Prep as the Executive Director in 2012, bringing with her a commitment to the school’s mission to prepare all students for success in college and lifelong ethical growth. With a focus on research and development, Ms. Liszanckie helps ensure the school is continuously growing and improving. Prior to joining Boston Prep, Ms. Liszanckie was a management consultant with the Bridgespan Group and Bain and Company. She also served as a middle school math teacher in Wellesley, MA and Connecticut. Ms. Liszanckie holds a B.S. from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Chief Academic Officer
Eileen Callahan joined the Boston Prep team in 2015, bringing with her extensive experience in the charter school sector. Ms. Callahan guides the development of Boston Prep's rigorous, engaging college preparatory curriculum. Prior to joining Boston Prep, Ms. Callahan served as Director of Leadership Development at Building Excellent Schools, cultivating leaders of high performing schools. Ms. Callahan also has experience as both a teacher and school leader at Boston Collegiate Charter School. She holds a B.A. and M.A. from Fordham University as well as an Ed.M. from Harvard University.
Middle School Principal
Cristina Lopez joined the Boston Prep faculty in 2017. Prior to joining Boston Prep, Ms. Lopez spent many years at Leadership Public Schools in San Jose, CA, growing from a science teacher to the Academic Dean. A native of Boston, Ms. Lopez previously served as a teacher at Boston Collegiate Charter School. Ms. Lopez holds a B.S. from Boston College, an M.Ed. from Arizona State University, and an additional M.Ed. from the Reach Instructional Leadership Academy.
Middle School Assistant Principal
Michael Lester joined Boston Prep in 2006. He served as Boston Prep’s Dean of Students for eight years. He then served as the Director of Student and Family Life before moving into his current role as Middle School Assistant Principal. Prior to joining Boston Prep, Mr. Lester served as the Associate Dean of Support Services at the Steppingstone Foundation. Mr. Lester holds a B.S. from Tuskegee University and a M.Ed. from Simmons College.
High School Principal
Boston Prep is excited to welcome Carolina Brito to the faculty this year. Ms. Brito comes to Boston Prep from Cristo Rey Boston High School, where she developed over eight years from a teacher to the Dean of Humanities and most recently a Principal Fellow as part of the Lynch Leadership Academy Principal Fellowship program. Passionate about professional excellence, she is also the founder of TeachCollab, a teacher-led professional learning community. Ms. Brito holds a B.A. from Columbia University as well as an Ed.M. from Harvard University.
High School Assistant Principal
Stefany Tomlinson joined the Boston Prep faculty in 2015 as a high school English Language Arts teacher. She soon took over leadership of the ninth grade team and now brings that experience to the entire high school community as High School Assistant Principal. Ms. Tomlinson holds a B.A. from Spelman College and an M.Ed. from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Director of The Persistence Project
Mindy Wright became a member of the Boston Prep team in 2007. In her time at Boston Prep, Ms. Wright has served as a history teacher, history department chair, and Director of Graduate Support. In her current role, Ms. Wright coordinates our integrated supports and services for students and families across grades 6 through 16 to ensure students are prepared to get into college, enroll, persist, and graduate. Prior to joining Boston Prep, Ms. Wright was the social studies department chair at the Epiphany School in Dorchester. Ms. Wright holds a B.A. from Colby College and an M.Ed. from Boston College.
