It is the first hour of the first day of ninety-one students’ first year of high school. Members of the freshman class are seated on the bleachers of the gymnasium with collars popped, ready to add on the final part of their new professional uniform. Together, they will learn the ins and outs – and overs and unders – of tying a tie.

Teacher Appreciation Week was celebrated nationwide May 7 - 11. Boston Prep teachers are talented, dedicated, and incredibly hardworking, and we wanted to make sure they knew just how much we appreciate all they do! Perhaps the best surprise of all came from our students, who shared notes of gratitude to each faculty member.
The Du Bois Award is one of the highest honors at Boston Prep, awarded each week to one deserving student in front of the entire school community. Named after W. E. B. Du Bois, the award recognizes a student who embodies the core virtues of Boston Prep -- courage, compassion, integrity, perseverance, and respect.
For a weekend in late April, Boston Prep students, faculty, families, and supporters transported from Boston to the streets of Washington Heights for Boston Prep's first ever school musical.
