Our Indicators of Success

The dedication and relentless effort of our students and teachers has led to outstanding results.  Boston Prep middle and high school students consistently achieve at high levels.  100% of Boston Prep graduates have been accepted to four-year colleges, and nearly all have enrolled in college the semester following graduation.  80% of alumni are currently persisting in college, on their way to earning a college degree.  In recognition of our consistent outstanding results, Boston Prep has been recognized with multiple awards.

MCAS Results: Spring 2016

Boston Prep students continue to outperform their peers in Boston Public Schools (BPS) and across the Commonwealth, as evidenced by high rates of students scoring in the Advanced and Proficient categories on the 2015 MCAS exams, as shown in the graphs below.  Boston Prep students placed first in the state on the ELA MCAS exam.

 
 
 

PARCC Results: Spring 2016

Boston Prep students showed significant growth on the Spring 2016 PARCC exams, earning some of the highest Student Growth Percentile scores in the state of MA and the city of Boston. 

 
 

Acknowledging Student Success

Over the years, Boston Prep has received widespread recognition for our many achievements, showing that our school is not only one of the best in Boston, but across the country. Below are a few of the awards and acknowledgements of which we are most proud. 


Top Ranked High School: US News and World Report

Boston Prep has consistently been ranked among the best high schools in the state and across the country by US News and World Report, earning gold and silver medals. In 2014, our school was named the #1 open enrollment high school in Boston, within the top 20 high schools in the state, and a gold medal school on the national level.

2014 Award Winner: The Pozen Prize for Charter Schools

In 2014, Boston Prep was awarded the inaugural Pozen Prize for Charter Schools, a prize to recognize academic excellence and quality learning environments in Greater Boston charter schools.
