Laurie Bacon, English Teacher, B.A. Pitzer College, M.A. Boston University, M.Ed Harvard University
Before joining the staff at BPCPS Ms. Bacon taught Honors Religions in Literature at the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
 
Carrie Baldwin, Science Teacher, B.A. Colgate University, M.Ed. Harvard University
Before joining the staff at BPCPS, Ms. Baldwin spent three years teaching Science at the Roxbury Preparatory Charter School in Roxbury.
 
Richard Benka, Math Tutor, B.A. Harvard College, J.D. Harvard Law School, M.P.P. John F. Kennedy School of Government
Prior to serving as a math tutor and teacher at BPCPS, Mr. Benka worked as an attorney for Foley Hoag LLP in Boston.
 
David Berkley, English Teacher, B.A. Dartmouth College, M.Ed. Harvard University
Mr. Berkley was a founding English Teacher at BPCPS. Prior to working at BPCPS, Mr. Berkley was on the founding teams at Uphams Corner Charter School in South Boston, the Harbor School in Dorchester, and the Francis Parker Charter School in Devens.
 
Meghan Blute-Nelson, Director of Operations and Finance, B.A. Georgetown University, M.B.A. Boston University
Ms. Blute-Nelson worked for two years as the Development Director at BPCPS before assuming the role of Director of Operations and Finance.
 
Kate Borne, English Teacher, B.A. Hamilton College
Before joining the staff at BPCPS, Ms. Borne taught for three years at the Edward Brooke Charter School in Roslindale.
 
Katie Braymiller, Science Teacher, B.S. State University of New York at Geneseo, M.Ed. Boston College
Ms. Braymiller spent last year pursuing her Master's Degree and student teaching at Brighton High School.
 
Robert Brutus, Latin Teacher, B.A. Princeton University
Mr. Brutus worked recently as a paralegal and a recruiter for law firms in New York City.
 
Jaclyn Capria, Speech & Language Pathologist, B.S. State University of New York at Geneseo, M.S. MGH Institute of Health Professions
Prior to working at BPCPS, Ms. Capria worked as a Graduate Student Clinician at Massachusetts General Hospital and at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School.
 
Matt Clements, English Language Learners Teacher, B.A. Columbia University
Mr. Clements spent last year tutoring at the MATCH Charter Middle School.
 
Jill Colley, English Teacher, B.A. Loyola College
Before teaching at BPCPS, Ms. Colley was an English teacher at Excel Academy Charter School in East Boston.
 
Christopher Cook, History Teacher and Athletic Director, B.A. Northeastern University
Before teaching at BPCPS, Mr. Cook worked at the United States Department of Education and working as Vice President of Northeastern University Habitat for Humanity.
 
Gina Crannell, Special Education Teacher, B.A. Syracuse University, M.S. Northeastern University
Ms. Crannell taught for the last six years at the Learning Prep High School in Newton.
 
Michaela Crowley, Interim Middle School Principal and Dean of Support Services, B.A. Boston College, M.Ed. Boston College
Before coming to BPCPS, Ms. Crowley taught at the Chenery Middle School in Belmont.
 
Amanda D'Alessio, Special Education Teacher, B.A. Simmons College, M.S. Pace University
Before coming to BPCPS, Ms. D?Alessio spent three years as a Special Education Teacher at the Urban Science Academy in New York City.
 
Jessica Delforge, English Department Chair, B.A. Brown University
Before coming to BPCPS, Ms. Delforge taught Literacy and English at Salem Public High School in Salem.
 
Adam Dobberfuhl, Science Department Chair, B.S. University of Minnesota, M.S. Boston University
Before coming to BPCPS, Mr. Dobberfuhl taught Science at the Harbor Middle School in Dorchester and earned his Master's Degree in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution.
 
Joshua Enneking, Science Teacher, B.A. DePauw University
Mr. Enneking spent the last three years teaching Science and Social Studies at the Compton-Drew ILC Middle School in Saint Louis, MO.
 
Natasha Faria, Paraprofessional and Administrative Assistant, B.S. Wheelock College
Prior to joining BPCPS, Ms. Faria worked as a Residential Counselor at Germaine Lawrence, Inc., in Arlington.
 
Amanda Gardner, Dean of Curriculum, B.A. Tulane University, M.Ed. Harvard University
Ms. Gardner was the founding Dean of Learning and the founding Principal at BPCPS. Prior to working at BPCPS, Ms. Gardner completed an administrative internship at the Philbrick School in Roslindale.
 
Courtney Griffin, Administrative Assistant, B.S. Suffolk University
Prior to working at BPCPS, Ms. Griffin worked as a Recruiter for Professional Staffing Group.
 
Kate Harkey, Math Teacher, B.A. Williams College
Before teaching at BPCPS, Ms. Harkey spent a year teaching Math at the Hyde School in Bath, Maine.
 
Valonda Harris, VaLonda Harris, Full Time Substitute, B.A. Harvard University
Ms. Harris spent last year teaching Social Studies at Harrisburg High School in Harrisburg, PA.
 
Elsie Huang, High School Principal, B.S. Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Ms. Huang was a founding Science and Math Teacher at BPCPS. Prior to working at BPCPS, Ms. Huang was a founding Science Teacher at Smith Leadership Academy Charter School.
 
Felicia Jordan, English Teacher, B.A. Boston College
Ms. Jordan spent the last two years teaching English at Smith Leadership Academy Charter School.
 
Lisa Konieczna, Librarian & Tae Kwon Do Teacher, B.A. Massachusetts College of Art
Prior to working at BPCPS, Ms. Konieczna was the Assistant Art Director at the Boys & Girls Club of South Boston and was an Office Manager at Sidney Hutter Glass and Light. She is a Second Degree Blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do.
 
Brian Kwoba, History Teacher, B.A. Cornell University, M.A. Tufts University
Mr. Kwoba spent the last three years teaching History at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School.
 
Michael Lester, Dean of Students, B.S. Tuskegee University
Before coming to BPCPS, Mr. Lester spent five years working as Associate Dean of Support Services at the Steppingstone Foundation.
 
Kim Lockwood, English Teacher, B.A. Smith College
Ms. Lockwood spent three years working as a teacher and administrator at the Edward Brooke Charter School in Roslindale.
 
Scott McCue, Head of School, B.A. Harvard University, M.A. Columbia Teachers College
Prior to being hired as the BPCPS Head of School, Mr. McCue coordinated the work of the school's Founding Board as a fellow at the Massachusetts Charter School Resource Center. Prior to this fellowship, Mr. McCue worked as a teacher and administrator at Academy of the Pacific Rim Charter Public School in Hyde Park, MA.
 
Evan McEwing, BSN, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences
Prior to working at BPCPS, Mr. McEwing was a student at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Since 2003, he has conducted clinical research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
 
Sarah Meyer, Math Teacher, B.A. University of Texas
Ms. Meyer spent a year working as a Teaching Assistant with the Plan II/KIPP Partnership in Austin, Texas, and as a Teach for America Campus Campaign Coordinator. This will be Ms. Meyer's second year at BPCPS.
 
Simone Miles, History Teacher and Dean of Family Support, B.A. University of Massachusetts-Boston, Ed.M. Harvard University
Before coming to BPCPS, Ms. Miles taught at the Harbor Middle School in Dorchester.
 
Archie Olson, Math Teacher, B.A. University of Vermont
Prior to working at BPCPS, Mr. Olson worked as a High School Advisor and Learning Leader at El Camino Real Academy in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
 
Kevin Ouellete, Latin Teacher, B.A. Boston University
Prior to working at BPCPS, Mr. Ouellette student taught at Boston Latin Academy in Dorchester.
 
Meghan Owens, English Teacher, B.A. University of New Hampshire, M.A. Northeastern University
Before teaching at BPCPS, Ms. Owens worked as the Area Director at Babson College. Previous to her work there, Ms. Owens taught English and coordinated the Student Affairs program at Prospect Hill Academy Charter School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
 
Danielle Pape, Dean of Educational Partnerships, B.S. Vanderbilt University, M.Ed. Vanderbilt University
Before coming to BPCPS Ms. Pape spent two years as a Humanities Teacher and as Humanities Lead Teacher at the Christa McAuliffe Regional Charter Public School in Framingham.
 
Anders Peterson, Director of Development, B.A. Wesleyan University, M.Ed. Harvard University
Prior to working at BPCPS, Mr. Peterson worked as Headmaster at Savio Prep High School in East Boston.
 
Mindy Pinto, History Department Chair, B.A. Colby College, M.Ed. Boston College
Before teaching at BPCPS Ms. Pinto spent three years as Social Studies Department Head at the Epiphany School in Dorchester.
 
Ashlee Reed, Special Education Teacher, B.A. Wellesley College
Before coming to BPCPS, Ms. Reed worked as a counselor and crisis team leader at the Learning Prep school in Newton, Massachusetts.
 
Benjamin Ruddock, Technology Support Specialist, B.A. The University of Guelph
Prior to working at BPCPS, Mr. Ruddock was an Urban Fellow at Phoenix Charter Academy in Chelsea.
 
Fernando Santos, History Teacher, B.A. University of Massachusetts Amherst, M.Ed. University of Massachusetts Boston
Before coming to BPCPS, Mr. Santos worked as a Boston Teacher Resident at Charlestown High School.
 
Emma Siesfeld, Special Education Teacher, B.A, Barnard College
Prior to working at BPCPS, Ms. Siesfeld tutored at the MATCH Charter Public High School.
 
Katherine Skrivan, Math Teacher, B.A. Amherst College
Prior to working at BPCPS, Ms. Skrivan worked as a Consultant with Bain & Company.
 
Molly Stone, Special Education Teacher, B.A. Williams College, M.S. Mercy College
Prior to teaching at BPCPS, Ms. Stone spent two years as a Special Education Teacher at the San Francisco Day School in San Francisco.
 
Timothy Suba, Math Department Chair, B.A. University of Missouri-Columbia
Prior to teaching at BPCPS, Mr. Suba spent three years as a Special Education Teacher at East St. John Elementary School in La Place, Louisiana and one summer as a School Director for Teach for America in Houston, Texas.
 
Nick Thompson, Math Teacher, B.A. Oberlin College, M.Ed. Lesley University
Mr. Thompson was a founding Math teacher at BPCPS. Prior to working at BPCPS, Mr. Thompson spent a year as an Urban Teaching Fellow at the Shady Hill School and the John Tobin Elementary School in Cambridge.
 
Twink Williams, Director of College Counseling, B.A. Williams College
Before coming to BPCPS, Ms. Williams was an admissions counselor at Williams College and spent last year as a college counselor at the Berkshire School in western Massachusetts.
 
Kayron Wright, Math Teacher, B.F.A. University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth
Before coming to BPCPS, Mr. Wright spent two years as a Campus Director for Citizen Schools.
 
Chris Wynne, Saturday Academy Teacher, B.A. University of Pennsylvania, M.Ed. Harvard University
Mr. Wynne was a founding Saturday Academy teacher at BPCPS. Mr. Wynne is currently pursuing his Ed.D. at Harvard.
