Middle School, High School, and College
Sharon Liszanckie joined Boston Prep as the Executive Director in 2012, bringing with her a commitment to the school’s mission to prepare all students for success in college and lifelong ethical growth. With a focus on research and development, Ms. Liszanckie helps ensure the school is continuously growing and improving. Prior to joining Boston Prep, Ms. Liszanckie was a management consultant with the Bridgespan Group and Bain and Company. She also served as a middle school math teacher in Wellesley, MA and Connecticut. Ms. Liszanckie holds a B.S. from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Chief Academic Officer
Eileen Callahan joined the Boston Prep team in 2015, bringing with her extensive experience in the charter school sector. Ms. Callahan guides the development of Boston Prep's rigorous, engaging college preparatory curriculum. Prior to joining Boston Prep, Ms. Callahan served as Director of Leadership Development at Building Excellent Schools, cultivating leaders of high performing schools. Ms. Callahan also has experience as both a teacher and school leader at Boston Collegiate Charter School. She holds a B.A. and M.A. from Fordham University as well as an Ed.M. from Harvard University.
Middle School Principal
Adam Dobberfuhl has been a member of the Boston Prep faculty since 2006. Over his time with the school, he has served as a science teacher, science department chair, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Director of Ethics and Instruction, and now brings his years of expertise to his role as Middle School Principal. Prior to joining Boston Prep, Mr. Dobberfuhl was a science teacher at the Harbor Middle School in Dorchester. Mr. Dobberfuhl holds a B.S. from the University of Minnesota and an M.S. from Boston University.
High School Principal
Boston Prep welcomed Mr. Cook back as a member of the faculty in 2015. Mr. Cook originally joined Boston Prep in 2007. During his four years with the school, he served first as a building substitute and moved into the roles of history teacher and Athletic Director. He then served as the High School Principal at the Community Charter School of Cambridge for three years before returning to Boston Prep. Bringing that experience with him, he now serves as Boston Prep's High School Principal. Mr. Cook holds a B.A. from Northeastern University and an M.Ed. from Harvard University.
Director of Student and Family Life
Mike Lester joined Boston Prep in 2006. He served as Boston Prep’s Dean of Students for eight years before moving into his current role as Director of Student and Family Life. In this role, Mr. Lester helps develop a strong school community that supports students’ ethical growth and engages families, students, and teachers as partners in the educational process. Prior to joining Boston Prep, Mr. Lester served as the Associate Dean of Support Services at the Steppingstone Foudation. Mr. Lester holds a B.S. from Tuskegee University and a M.Ed. from Simmons College.
Director of The Persistence Project
Mindy Wright became a member of the Boston Prep team in 2007. In her time at Boston Prep, Ms. Wright has served as a history teacher, history department chair, and Director of Graduate Support. In her current role, Ms. Wright coordinates our integrated supports and services for students and families across grades 6 through 16 to ensure students are prepared to get into college, enroll, persist, and graduate. Prior to joining Boston Prep, Ms. Wright was the social studies department chair at the Epiphany School in Dorchester. Ms. Wright holds a B.A. from Colby College and an M.Ed. from Boston College.
