Our school offers a challenging academic program, with a 190-day school year, an 8½ hour school day, and a mandatory Saturday program for students who are failing core academic classes.
Students receive several hours of homework each night. Our school is safe and strict, with a required student uniform and serious disciplinary consequences for frequently overlooked misbehaviors such as disrespect and repeated class disruptions. We are pleased to report that 100% of BPCPS seniors in the founding class are now enrolled in college.
BPCPS is a free, public school. While there is no entrance exam for BPCPS, students and families must share the school's commitment to high expectations and hard work. Before the start of each school year, families, students, and school staff sign the BPCPS Contract for Excellence. To read the Contract for Excellence, click here.
