Invest in Us
Public charter schools such as BPCPS are funded based upon the average per-pupil expense of the sending district. However, this funding does not include real estate expense and does not account for our extended day and school year. Our small total enrollment fosters a safe, supportive environment, but also prevents the economies of scale available to larger school districts.

Hence, private support plays an essential role in our school program. With this in mind, 100% of the school’s and foundation’s board members have invested in the school every year since its founding. Please join them.

You may be able to increase your gift with a matching donation. Many companies sponsor matching gift programs and will match dollar for dollar donors' gifts. If your gift is eligible, simply request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it, completed and signed, along with your gift.

Gifts of Securities
Boston Preparatory Charter Public School is grateful for bequests of low cost basis securities. By making a gift of long-term appreciated securities (held by you for more than one year) to BPCPS, you can avoid the capital gains taxes that you would incur if you sold the securities. We encourage you to discuss your giving options with your lawyer or other financial representative to determine how you can support BPCPS while maximizing your tax benefits.
