Ethics in Action: Athletics and Clubs From A-Z

Athletics and clubs at Boston Prep provide the opportunity for students to practice the school’s key virtues - courage, compassion, integrity, perseverance, and respect - in an authentic environment.  Aspiring singers practice courage when they perform in front of the school community.  Students learn the true meaning of compassion as they distribute food to needy community members at our local food bank.  Athletes practice perseverance as they give 110% effort daily to be the best team they can be.

Please visit our extracurricular programs site to learn more about our clubs and athletic programs.

Our varsity athletic teams compete in the Massachusetts Charter School Athletic Organization (MCSAO) with nineteen other Greater Boston area charter schools.  Our teams have performed at high levels, with our girls’ track team holding three consecutive championship titles, our boys’ track team two consecutive championship titles, and our boys’ basketball team two championship titles.

"The biggest thing Boston Prep has taught me is the importance of respect.  I always thought respect was something that you show to others.  Boston Prep helped me realize that respect is something I need to show to myself first."
